Hey Everyone,

I believe in inspiring and empowering others to get more out of life. You have the opportunity to do the extraordinary no matter what the circumstances.

I’m not a guru. I’m just a normal guy that believes in working for yourself, leverage and having fun while doing it.

I’ve always believed that there had to be better way than working the traditional 9–5. My mind was blown when I saw the concept of residual income!

Because of this desire, boy did working a 9–5 job frustrate me. I was frustrated working for someone else because I now know there is a better way.

If you have a plan, a mentor, and are consistent you can accomplish anything.

Freedom is the oxygen of the soul.

If you can commit to working for one or two extra hours everyday (6-8pm), Monday through Friday, you can make a huge difference in your life. You can learn how to do anything in those couple extra hours everyday.

You can learn a few skills that will make a drastic difference in your emotional and financial life when compounded after only 24 months.

I want to meet, network, and give back to other newbie network marketers who are in the same situation just like I was … and hopefully my story can help inspire you to discover a better alternative just like I did when I decided to look for other ways to make money from home.

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and moved to Southern California in 1991. I am currently living in the Long Beach community of Belmont Shore with my beautiful wife, steps from the beach… but life was not always peachy.

John discovers Network Marketing

I was first introduced to owning my own home based business in 1997. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was twenty-one years old and I was excited about working for myself, being my own boss, and having more freedom.

Boy was I mistaken.

Like most, I failed miserably.

I did it all WRONG. I was chasing my friends and family, going to every Thursday night opportunity meeting, every Saturday morning training, talking to complete strangers to see if they would be interested in my business and asking for referrals from my sister and her boyfriend and his friends and their friends.

Sound familiar?

Regardless of all the pitfalls and struggle, I was learning new things, meeting exciting and other positive like-minded people and began my entrepreneurial journey. I was on cloud nine!

Fast forward about six months or so — my business was not where I thought it was suppose to be and what did I do? Like most people — I quit. I said this does not work and decided to go back to college.

I remember reading somewhere that computer programmers made 50K per year and thought that was a decent salary. I thought I would program, listen to tunes on my mp3 player, and make a decent living.

John goes to college

I enrolled in a trade school to become a computer programmer. I went to school from 8 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon and then work from 3 to 11PM at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. I would get home, do some homework, get a few hours of sleep and then do it again.

Work, school, sleep.

Rinse and repeat.

The hustle that is life.

The computer programming school closed down so I decided to study graphic design and received an associate’s degree in 2003 at Brooks College in Long Beach and eventually began my career in graphic design — running hard in that familiar rat race.

I didn’t go to the best school out there but I do have that one thing that matters. Hustle. I persevered and went to work.

While working the graphic design J-O-B, I decided to start my own t-shirt brand called “Greenville”. I figured I use the skills I learned at art school and start my own business.

I started this business in a tiny 300 square foot studio apartment in Downtown Long Beach.

Here’s a picture of boxes of tees in my living room / bedroom / warehouse…

The t-shirt industry was fierce. The business did not take off as planned but nonetheless it was good times! I had officially started my first business and I learned a lot.

Back to the J-O-B.

After 6 years of having my boss tell me when I could take a vacation, when I could have a raise (and how much), when to come to work and when to leave, I started to think “there has to be a better way“.

I had not taken a vacation in about three years and it was starting to catch up to me.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired

I dreaded driving to work, driving down that congested 405 freeway, thinking about how hard I’m working, giving it my all and not being paid what I knew what I was worth.

I was miserable. I often dreamed of being my own boss, getting paid what I was worth, taking more vacations… actually just taking a vacation really.

The more and more I thought about it the more I refused to work at a job so that when I retired, my boss would have a nice big house to live in.

I decided this was not for me.

Something HAS to change

I had read Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Cash Flow Quadrant and whenever I would just think about these books my heart would start racing and I’d get excited about building my own enterprise.

I wanted to spend more time with my wife, travel the world, get paid what I am worth, work when I wanted to work and really have that freedom in life that we all dream about.

  • I was sick and tired of punching a clock
  • I was sick and tired of rushing through my lunch
  • I was sick and tired of not being able to take vacations
  • I was sick and tired of the commute

The richest people in the world look for and build networks. Everyone else just looks for work. –Robert Kiyosaki

I do not want to have to ask for time off to take my future kids to the dentist or to the doctor for a checkup.

I began looking online for ways to make money. I was looking and looking and looking for a business I could do from home.

Not being able to live life on MY terms was painful.

I was FRUSTRATED.

John discovers making money online

Through my day job, I learned about drop-shipping and I created an e-commerce website. I market a product, take the orders, someone else manufactures the product and handles the shipping.

This is gold.

A stream of income and one step closer to kissing the 9-5 goodbye.

Read chapter 9 in the book “The 4-Hour Workweek” about Income Automation. Amazing.

About 6 months after creating this e-commerce website I came across a great network marketing business and I knew to have real leverage is to build a network marketing business. A passive income that can pay you over and over for working one time.

Funny thing is — my BOSS introduced me to the business. Ha!

Network Marketing Now

Funny how certain things lead us to other things. I believe for a reason. The job didn’t provide me the lifestyle that I wanted but it did lead me to my business and for that I’m grateful.

With the advent of the Internet, you can instantly place your product, your service, or your business in front of thousands, or even millions, of people, around the world, with little more than the push of a button.

The Internet is the most powerful platform for information in the world.

My mentors teach mlm lead generation, how to position yourself online, prospecting, and how to have people calling you to join your business – rejection free.
